Who We Are
The Milwaukee Sewing Club is sponsored by BurdaStyle. We are a group of people interested in learning tips and tricks of the sewing trade while hanging out in good company. The club is free to join. Just come and have fun. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month in downtown Milwaukee.
How It Works
Before the meeting an email will go out to anyone who has contacted the club. In the email there will be a description of the project the club will be working on at the meeting along with a list of fabric and notions needed for the project. You are expected to bring the materials needed for the project along with your own sewing machine. Together we will work on the project. Since this is a club to help everyone grow as a sewer, you may also bring any questions you have about a project you are working on. We will do our best to work through the problem area and get you back on your sewing way. Before the end of the meeting we will decide what project we will work on at the next meeting.
